We are starting a new millennium and a new era, the so-called “KNOWLEDGE ERA”, where a globalised world can share and process information, transforming it into knowledge.
The role of the Universities is to generate and transmit this knowledge, valuing it, and with the use and the diffusion of this knowledge, to help the organizations and citizens improving their competitiveness, because in this new step of humanity, who do not adapts to the changing conditions of this environment, whether influences it, is condemned to remain behind, or simply follows those leaders of the change.

In this context, the University of San Martín de Porres is consolidated as a scientific authority, where there is an atmosphere of change and healthy competition, but above all, it uses more and more intensively the modern technologies created by men on the way to construct a new world with new paradigms, leaded by professionals with a proper multidisciplinary preparation, established on strong ethic and moral values, convinced of its protagonic role in the construction of a successful future.
